ClockX uninstalls cleanly from Windows 10 and 11 in under a minute. The standard uninstaller removes all files and registry entries. No leftover processes or services.
The cleanest way on Windows 10 and 11.
Right-click the ClockX clock on your desktop and select Exit. This closes ClockX before uninstalling, preventing any file lock issues.
Press Win + I to open Windows Settings. Go to Apps → Installed apps (Windows 11) or Apps & features (Windows 10).
Search for ClockX or ClocX in the search field. Click the three-dot menu next to it (Windows 11) or click directly (Windows 10) → Uninstall.
A UAC prompt may appear asking for administrator permission — click Yes. The ClockX uninstaller runs and removes all installed files. The process takes about 15 seconds.
Works on all Windows versions including Windows 10.
Press Win + R, type control and press Enter. In Control Panel, click Programs → Programs and Features (or "Uninstall a program").
Scroll to find ClocX in the list (it may be listed as "ClocX" not "ClockX"). Double-click it or right-click → Uninstall. Follow the uninstaller prompts.
The standard uninstaller removes all program files. If you want a completely clean slate, you can also remove the user settings stored in the registry.
Press Win + R, type regedit, press Enter. Accept the UAC prompt.
Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ClocX. This folder contains your personal settings: window position, skin choice, transparency level and alarm configurations.
Right-click the ClocX folder → Delete → confirm. Close Registry Editor. All ClockX settings are now completely removed from your system.
C:\Program Files\ClocX\. Also check the Startup folder and remove any ClockX shortcut from shell:startup.Ctrl+Shift+Esc) → find ClocX.exe → right-click → End task. Then recheck that the installation folder is fully removed.HKCU\Software\ClocX. If you reinstall ClockX later, your previous settings will be restored automatically.
